I knew I had had a few perfect days this week. But I also had a few small slip ups. I did NOT even want to weigh myself, but I did it, and found that I am down 6 lbs!!! <span style="font-size: x-large;">6!!!!!!!! I gave up </span><br />

I had to put on a swimsuit yesterday for Cowabunga Bay and it revealed that my stomach mass is more under control, but my legs really look like pasty white, giggly tapioca pudding (if only all my freckles would get together and make a tan, at least the "pasty white" part would be gone). When dieting on a long-term basis, or just beginning to eat healthy for life and exercise (which is my goal that I hope this contest will still help with), don't beat yourself up over your weight or overly worry about the pounds. Quality of life is what I'm searching for. That means McDs fries, baking cookies, candy aisle runs for licorice pull n peels, gas station treats, cinnamon rolls for breakfast, shakes or snow cones after the pool... Just pure junk food! And I LOVE it! The kids are out of school so everyday treats become a big part of our day, something special and fun, something to look forward to, something easy and convenient, oh my!<br />
So I'm struggling BIG TIME with this right now. I kinda can't wait for school to start so I can better control what options I give myself to eat. When faced with temptation I lose! I simply don't have the mind over matter willpower. Or haven't found it yet. So I guess I shouldn't buy it, and there is where my control will lay. On a calendar I mark the days I exercise with a star, and the days I eat right with a smiley face. For some reason seeing all the stars and smiley faces really makes me happy, and really makes me want a star and a smiley face on ALL the days! At the end of the month it THRILLS me if I have both on most days, and I am ensured to see results on the scale the months where the days are filled with stars and smiley faces! I am feeling so motivated right now! I really give myself snaps when I make a healthy choice over a non healthy choice. At the end of the night if I have made it to bed feeling like I made good choices all day, it makes me feel so HAPPY!
