Here are a few healthy smoothies that can help you beat the heat and get your vitamins! You might not have ever thought of even putting these ingredients together. Even though they might sound disgusting, I challenge you to give them a try. Even if it isn't your favorite flavor, if you drink it with a straw, you can get it down pretty quickly and without tasting a ton of it. AND maybe, just maybe, you will LIKE it!!!
Avocado Smoothie
1/2 avocado
3/4 coconut milk
1/2 cup spinach
1/2 cup diced peaches
1/2 cup ice cubes
1 Tbs. birch xylitol (sweetener you can find at health stores)
Blend all the ingredients until smooth. Serve immediately
Raspberry-Almond Milk Smoothie
1 cup almond milk
1/2 cup raspberries (I like frozen)
1/2 cup ice cubes
1 Tbs. almond butter
1 tsp. stevia
Blend all ingredients until smooth. Serve immediately
Coconut-Cherry Smoothie
1 cup hemp milk
1/2 cup frozen cherries
1/2 cup ice cubes
1/4 cup shredded coconut
1/4 cup cooked quinoa
1 Tbs. almond butter
1 tsp. stevia
